What is Taste Haven

Our goal is to help our customers achieve a healthy lifestyle. To do this, we focus on nutritious eating. We want our food to taste good and be high in nutrition as well as quality,- that's why we use the freshest ingredients available! Our meals are fully cooked when they come into your home, so all you need to do is heat them up. Enjoy!

How many people does one meal feed?

Each meal feeds one adult for one meal. Our meals will vary in nutrition facts and ingredients, so always make sure to check online.

Can I choose or customize my meals?

Yes! We want you to choose and customize your deliveries in the ways that work for you. The weekly menu page will feature many dietary options to choose from, including best sellers, snack options and fan favorites- it will show what meal options we offer for delivery over. If no changes are made by 11:59pm ET on Wednesday before the delivery week (new selections), then we will just send out last week's chosen meals.

I didn’t receive many of the meals that I wanted!

Please contact our customer support team at support@tastehaven.com as soon as possible so that we can help sort things out quickly. Please note that due to the current supply shortage or in the event an item is unavailable, we will carefully choose a similar item as a substitute.

How are my meals packaged?

All of our meals are delivered to you in a BPA free container. These plastics are safe for food storage as well as heating. Our main containers are safe for the microwave or oven. They are also designated as recyclable, so go ahead and put them in the recycling bin after you've enjoyed the meals!

We deliver our local meals in insulated bag with gel packs that will keep the food at refrigerated temperatures for quite a long time! We thoroughly test them in all seasons across all climates.

Keep in mind that it is normal for the gel packs to be slightly melted by the time they arrive. This is because they release cold air into the bag as they melt.

Can I return my meals if I don’t like them?

We stand by the quality of our food and ingredients, but we understand that everyone has different taste palates. If you don't like one of our meals for any reason, please contact us at support@tastehaven.com so we can help sort out the issue with any of your meals.

How long do my meals stay fresh?

Your meals will stay-fresh for up to 4-7 days. If you are unable to finish your meals by then, you can store them in the freezer and simply thaw them before heating as directed.

Can I freeze the meals?

Yes! You can freeze our meals if you do not expect to eat them within the first seven days, but fresh just tastes better. We recommend heating meals from frozen and adding a couple of minutes to the heating time (exact times vary as they are based on your oven/microwave).We also encourage you to be judicious about which meals you choose to freeze. Uncooked greens like salads should not be frozen and should be eaten earlier for peak deliciousness. Additionally, we discourage freezing any of our frittatas, yogurts or raw vegetables and thawing may affect the texture of some meals.

Do Taste Haven meals require preparation?

We prepare and fully cook our meals to perfection. All that's you have to do is heat and enjoy.

Do you offer low-sodium meals?

Yes we do, we do offer some low-sodium meals. Select low sodium meals from our RX menu option and modify your order based on your diet plan.

Do you offer vegetarian or vegan meals?

Yes, we do offer vegetarian meals, and we are working hard at adding even more menu options. Many vegetarian meals are also considered vegan, which means they are designed to be free of all animal products - no meat, fish, eggs, or dairy.

Do you offer ketogenic meals?

Yes! We do offer ketogenic meals. the meal must contain at least 60-70%of calories coming from fat, around 20% of calories coming from protein, and 10% or less of calories coming from carbohydrates. Since each individual will have a different carbohydrate threshold that allows them to remain in ketosis, the carbohydrate content of our meals varies.

How many calories are in each meal?

Most of our meals range from 350-600 calories per meal. If you select 4 oz protein plan your meals will be based on one serving and 6 oz protein for 1 & 1/2 servings.

Why is there so much fat in some meals?

The amount of fat will vary in our meals based on the type of meal that you choose. Meals marked as “Keto” are designed to have the majority of calories coming from sources of fat. If you’re looking to lower your fat consumption, we recommend choosing from our selection other plans especially vegetarian, and vegan meals. You can view the nutritional information for each meal by visiting our menu!

What if I have an allergy?

We take food allergies very seriously and include allergen declarations on our website. As noted in our Terms and Conditions, we strongly recommend that customers with food allergen sensitivities or restrictions carefully review our individual products on our website for the most updated information regarding ingredients and allergen declaration. We recommend reviewing the ingredient list on our website, prior to selecting meals, to determine if they contain any ingredients you are unable to consume. Please note, our meals are produced in a facility that also processes wheat, milk, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish.

Do you change the meals on your menu?

Yes we do! We add new meal to our menu each week. After the weekly cutoff on Tuesday at 11:59pm EST. you’ll be able to view and modify orders from a brand new menu that our chefs have designed.

Are these meals for weight loss?

Many of our meals are lower in calories and may help you consume less calories leading to a calorie deficit for many people. This have lead many to lose weight and meet nutrition-related goals depending on how you combine our meals with the other food you enjoy throughout the day.If at any point in time you need even more direction, schedule a complimentary nutrition consultation with a someone from our nutrition team.

Do I need to be home to receive my meals?

You do not need to be home to receive your meals! We deliver in our meals in insulated bags with gel packs that will keep the food for a while.

What time of day will my meals arrive?

The delivery window for all of our meals is from 10AM to 9 PM on delivery day. Most likely, the meals will be waiting at your door when you arrive home.

Can I return my meals if I don’t like them?

We stand by the quality of our food and ingredients, but we understand that everyone has different taste palates. If you don't like one of our meals for any reason, please contact us at support@tastehaven.comso we can help sort out the issue with your meal. We cannot issue refunds on food items if they don’t suit your personal taste palate though.

Where do you deliver to?

We delivery to all areas within a 20 mile radius of our 3916 Merrick Rd. Seaford, New York. We also offer free meal pick up. We are always expanding our delivery areas, check our website for our current delivery zones.What is the minimum meal plan for Taste Haven?There are several meal plans to choose from starting with eight meals per week. Each meal is individually-portioned to accommodate and feed each individual's needs.

Is there a minimum subscription period for Taste Haven?

No! You can skip, pause or cancel your plan at anytime. By adjusting your weekly delivery schedule before our Tuesday at 11:59pm ET cut-off time, not only will you stop delivery for the following week but you help us order and cook the right amount of food for our customers.

How can I edit my order?

While we will automatically select your meals each week based on any meal preferences indicated on your account, feel free to pick and choose your meal before the weekly cutoff, which is 11:59 pm EST on Tuesdays for delivery the following week. To edit your order:
•Click on the date of the order you'd like to edit
•Click 'Edit Meals.'
•Click on 'Add To Your Box' next to any meal you'd like to include in your order.
•Click on 'Save.'
•You'll be taken to the Add-Ons page. Choose any add-ons you'd like or click 'Skip Add-Ons.’

How can I change the default payment method on a subscription?

To update your payment information, simply follow the steps below!
On a desktop or laptop computer:
• Log in to your account.
• Click on the person icon in the top righthand corner of the page.
• Click on 'Settings.'
• Once on the 'Settings' page, click on 'Account Settings'.
• Click on 'Edit' in the Payment Method section.
• Input your new payment method.
• Click “Save.”

How do I cancel my account?

To cancel your account, simply sign into your account and follow these steps; on the left-hand side, first click, then click Manage Subscription, then click Cancel Subscription. Once cancellation is complete, you will receive an email from us confirming that your account has been canceled. If you cancel your account when an order is already in process, your cancellation will take effect once that order is delivered.
